Wedding Booking Information:
Your wedding is a special day and we understand that the time leading up to the wedding can be stressful. We will do what we can to make the cake process as easy and stress free for you, from communicating with you efficiently during the process and offering creative design.
We recommend booking your cake once you have your wedding decorations, venue and flowers organised. To avoid any disappointment, we require a minimum 3 months notice in advance.
A consultation is the first initial step in designing your cake. During the consultation we will discuss and collaborate details together, to come up with a design that best suits you.
We will provide you with a sketch of the design to ensure that you are comfortable with all the details, after a deposit has been placed.
Bookings are essential.
In order for us to design the perfect cake for you, please provide the following information at your consultation:
Designated cake budget
Number of people to be catered for
Cake to be served with coffee or as the dessert
Style / colour scheme chosen (ie. modern, vintage, etc)
Name of venue / delivery details
Copy of your wedding invitation
Pictures or material samples of the bride’s and/or bridemaid dresses
Flower design and colours
Pictures of cake designs you like
Please note, should you need to reschedule or cancel your consultation, we ask that you contact us a minimum of 48 hours in advance.
Q: How long do cakes last?
A: Most cakes last in the fridge for 3-4 days after cutting.
Q: On a multi-tiered cake, can each tier have a different flavour?
A: Absolutely. You can have any of our flavours per tier.
Q: Where should I store my cake/cupcakes before serving?
A: Cakes and cupcakes should be stored in a cool (preferably air conditioned) room, out of direct sunlight, and not in the refridgerator. After cutting/serving, you may store the remainder of the cake in the fridge.
Q: Can you have fresh flowers on a cake?
A: Yes you can. However, flowers chosen need to be in season and not harmful. We can advise you at the time which flowers may be harmful.
Q: Can I keep the figurines and sugar flowers from my cake?
A: Yes. Place them in an airtight container with anti-moisture crystals to protect it from dust and moisture. They will preserve their appearance for many years. Do not place them in the freezer.
Q: How long does it take to ship cookies?
A: All online cookie purchases are baked fresh the same day an order is placed (except weekends/public holidays), and express posted the next business day.
Express post parcels are generally received within 2-3 business days after dispatch.
Delays are to be expected during busy seasonal periods.
Q: How long do cookies last?
A: Our cookies have a long stable shelf life in their packaging. We suggest a best before date of 3 weeks, but they are still delicious to eat after this time when stored correctly in their packaging or in an air tight container.
